The Hydrogen train is one if not the most green train in history. They were made to go where electric trains can not go and to stop the pollution of diesel trains. They work by using hydrogen cell that make a chemical reaction to produce power. It takes hydrogen and mixes with oxygen from the air to produce electricity. The exhaust is pure water, this train could be the solution to pollution. These types of trains could be normalized by early 2020.
while the reduction of carbon gas in the atmosphere is good, you still have to realize that the use of hydrogen cell still has harmful effects to us has humans. hydrogen gas after use releases nitrogen dioxide which is an harmful gas to humans and could lead to respiratory problems. hydrogen is also highly flammable so a little bit of spark could lead to huge explosion that could gravely injure many. so while the use of hydrogen cell brings its advantages, its disadvantages are just as harmful to us.
Although it would be good to have an even more Eco-friendly train like this hydrogen one, we still need to solve the problem of gasoline cars. Electric cars still are not normalized enough, and are still too expensive. This hydrogen train would need a very good and efficient exhaust system so that the gas does not ignite and cause damage.

We also have to realize that the change to more ecofriendly system has possible other side effects, some environmental but also with the industries producing the parts (batteries) and how that affects jobs and economies.

Ya i agree with you, many other factors need to be thought of, analyzed, and implemented before regular use of these trains can occur.
