Just outside Denver a huge warehouse holds a strange assortment of objects - among them are stuffed tigers, elephant trunks and pangolin cowboy boots. This is the front line in the fight against a deadly global trade.

In an unassuming building hidden amidst the Rocky Mountains in Colorado is a treasure trove of dead animals.

It is the place where many of the illegal wildlife products seized by law enforcers at US ports and during criminal investigations end up.

There are more than 1.2 million items ranging from stuffed tigers, elephant trunk lamps, thousands of bear claws, medicinal goods to pangolin leather cowboy boots meticulously stored and categorised in the 22,000 sq ft warehouse.

It is really sad to see the extent trafficking of animals have gone. Many animals have gone extinct, yet these poachers are not paying mind to this. Hopefully, more of the criminals are apprehended and poor animals are saved from such ordeals.
it kinda crazy how low people are willing to go to make a quick large amount of bucks. Why would any 1 know that they make so much money because theu are killing almost extinct animals and still continue to do it...
Hopefully more awareness is raised and action is taken to insure these beautiful spices of animals are not harmed any longer. Many organizations are dedicated to protecting wildlife, but unfortunately there are more and more cases like this everyday.
