Art created by a humanoid AI robot will go on display at the University of Oxford.
The robot, called Ai-Da after the mathematician Ada Lovelace, uses a robotic arm and a pencil to draw what it sees with a camera in its eye.
The exhibition will run at the Barn Gallery at St John's College from 12 June.
I believe that this is an enormous leap for Humanity's development and a future of Ai, imagine humans send ai to different galaxies and cosmos to gather information and help unravel never ending mystery of what lies beyond. I believe this is a giant step and amazing way to introduce the public to AI in order the slowly dissolve some of the restriction of ethics which holds the development of AI back.

I am also excited to see what this leads to and I believe that this a great step towards a future of AI.

It is quite amazing to see the exponential growth and enhancement of artificial intelligence within the last decade to the point where some of the abilities that these robots poss are frighteningly "human". I believe that this robot "Ai-Da" will definitely become useful in comepleting certain tasks that are too risky for humans to do.

I agree with these, although i question if this will make us more prone to laziness and over dependency on Ai however if Ai take over our jobs we can focus on other worldly problems like world Hunger, Diseases etc.
