Minecraft diamond challenge leaves AI creators stumped - Idris_A - 12-14-2019
Microsoft put coders to the test by creating a challenge in which they were to create an AI which could find diamonds, with only 4 days training time. More than 660 applicant apllied some works showed progress for future steps , however non were able to overcome this feat. While most familiar people are able to obtain their diamond ore in mine craft in the first 20 mins, coding AI to go through the series of task to find a diamond proves difficult.

Hmm I wonder why is so hard to teach an AI that, I mean aren’t they supposed to be smarter since they are programmed to perfection?.

I think technology still has a long way to go before artificial intelligence can overcome more feats than they already do. It would be nice to see them being used for more important situations however.
