The Jeopardy of Landing on Mars

If we can study mars well enough, we could potentially start moving groups of people over there over the course of the next 50-100 years, and let earth heal from all the negative effects of pollution, animal extinction, etc, that we have caused. This Insight Lander could show us very important things about mars, if the mission goes well.

I had a post earlier talking about how I believe that we should be spending more time searching into our oceans than expanding out of our planet, however you have in a way opened up my eyes in the importance of expanding out of our planet, in order to keep the human race as safe as possible.
