The earth is going through a extinction crisis.
there are three main things you should know
1 Understand the implications of biodiversity loss
The loss of plant and animals that we are losing are effecting the biodiversity even more.
2 Think about what you eat
our meat preferences contribute to climate change, which in turn effects habitats and then leads to more loss of animals .
3 Think about what you buy
the produce you buy might come from an effected habitat.

I believe that this issue is mainly rooted in the first of the three points that you stated in your initial post, understanding exactly what the implications of biodiversity loss are is key when talking about finding a way to put an end to the extinction crisis. In my opinion their is far too many individuals who are uneducated on the biodiversity not knowing that simple things that they are doing in their day-to-day lives are greatly affecting species who are in desperate need of help.
