In previous years, the outbreak of the deadly virus known as ebola has eradicated and devastated the lives of many around the world while leaving many families with trauma and discomfort. In this article by James Gallagher, it has been confirmed that the Democratic Republic of Congo is dealing with the second largest outbreak of Ebola. There have been 2,0,25 cases of ebola and 1,357 deaths after the outbreak. In comparison, the first largest outbreak resulted in 11,310 deaths and affected over 20,000 people in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. It is disheartening to see others fighting for their lives against such an unsympathetic virus but shocking reports have also been revealed that a third of the deaths in the community results from people who don’t seek treatment and risk spreading the disease to others.
