Citizen science bags five-planet haul

It has been confirmed that a system of five planets are orbiting a far-off star in a resonance chain (which is when planets take 50% longer to orbit a star). This discovery can help scientists look further into how planetary systems are formed. It has been hinted that there may be a sixth planet in the system. The planets are a little bigger than our own planet. The hinted sixth planet skips two slots in the chain, making astronomers think that there are more to be found. Some theories around how planetary systems are formed is when there is chaotic scattering of rock and gas material in the early stages of the system's life. Continuing to search deeper into these planetary systems will continue to help us discover more about our strange universe. I am very interested to hear theories as to how our planetary system was formed and am looking forward for scientists to continue searching for a solid answer.
