New way to track elephants
This article talks about how researchers have come up with a new way of tracking elephants, via the vibrations that the animals make. They recorded the vibrations generated by wild elephants in Kenya while walking and calling, using instruments known as geophones. They can find out what the elephants are doing even when they are some distance away and can trace what location they areĀ in as well.

I find this to be really helpful as it could help with the fight against poaching in real time as well as offering insights into their behavior. Elephants are an endangered species so I'm glad to hear that scientist are keeping track of these elephant to make sure they are safe at all times. With this new way of tracking elephants, they could find out which areas are dangerous for the elephants to be nearby and which ares are safe for them to have there own habitat.
