I hope this discovery will bring more awareness to bees and the threats they are facing. No many people would consider the extinction of bees to be a great loss, but that's only because many aren't aware of the many things bees contribute to our society. They pollinate a late majority of crops that feed 90% of the world's population. Without bees it would bee extremely difficult to maintain a population of 7 billion people, as most of our food sources would be lost. Overall, with more discoveries and news coverage regarding bees, hopefully more people will be motivated to learn more and help protect the little creatures that allow us to live the way we do.
