The Melting of the Largest Ice Shelf
#1
https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-48107497
The Ross Ice shelf is an ice block about the size of France, making it the largest in the world. One part of this shelf is melting ten times faster than the rest of it which gives scientists an idea about how the rest of the shelf will respond to climate change. The melting of this ice shelf will cause drastic issues as sea levels will rise, causing floods to many communities on shorelines. Hopefully more changes will be made to reverse the effects of climate change before repercussions like this occur.
