The Expansion Rate of the Universe
#1
https://www.bbc.com/news/av/science-envi...n-t-add-up

Using the Hubble Space Telescope astronomers have found the most precise measurement for the expansion rate of the universe yet. When looking at how fast the universe is expanding the numbers are beyond comprehension but a value of 74.03 km/s for every 3.26 million light-years was found. The issue arises when the expected value was 9% slower than the value found, this poses a problem with the way in which calculating the expansion rate is done. The value obtained by the Hubble Telescope is'nt 100% accurate but it is as precise as we have been able to measure it. Finding the error in the calculations could lead to further understanding and maybe an even more precise value helping us put a number on how fast the ever expanding universe is growing.
