This advancement in technology is a huge step toward helping people and possibly giving some people a new meaning or capability in their life.  And although right now doing something like this is very expensive and very few people could actually afford it, in the future this technology could actually be more common for people, like how prosthetic and bionic arms are now a common thing for people with missing limbs.
