Sadly, we might lose the ability to see the universe and the halt in our learning of space that it will bring. However, there are two sides to this story, those who want to focus on saving the planet from climate change. They would not care as much about the halt in our learning of space because if we would stay on earth, it's less important to know about the area at that time. Then some want to leave the planet and find a new home and let earth heal itself through time, and to find a new home. Then we would need to find one, and the halt in our learning of space is more important than.
